Great pleasure to attend the 10th Annual Meeting of Chinese Breast Cancer Society, Hangzhou, March 17, 2018. I presented my experience with making an accurate diagnosis of breast cancer-related lymphedema, and selecting the appropriate treatments for lymphedema. Dr. Cheng Gives a Live Interview for the Formosa Cancer Foundation

I was very pleased to give the first live interview on Facebook for the Formosa Cancer Foundation last Friday. Over the 25-minute live broadcast, we talked about the care for post breast cancer patients, with special emphasis on breast reconstruction and breast cancer-related lymphedema. Microsurgical deep inferior epigastric perforator flap is the state-of-art technique for breast reconstruction with a natural permanent and symmetric breast mound. San Francisco # 4. I am very impressed by the resources, innovations, and quality of researches at the Division of Plastic Surgery, Stanford Medical School. The team is proudly led by Drs. James Chang, Michael Longaker, and Geoffrey Gurtner. All of them are world-class innovators and excellent role models for the young plastic surgeons. They have published numerous papers in the top medical journals. I had a successful brainstorming session with their research team. Several lymphedema research ideas came up from our meeting.
