Great pleasure to attend the 10th Annual Meeting of Chinese Breast Cancer Society, Hangzhou, March 17, 2018. I presented my experience with making an accurate diagnosis of breast cancer-related lymphedema, and selecting the appropriate treatments for lymphedema.
The most discussed topics in this conference were how to select the breast conservative treatment (preserving breast) versus breast reconstruction; and how to minimize the complications of breast cancer-related lymphedema versus lymphedema microsurgery. It was great to catch-up with many local friends and especially an old friend, Mien Chie Hung, Vice President of Basic Research from MD Anderson Cancer Center, participating as an international guest speaker.
