I just wanted to express my gratitude to two international patients who traveled from Canada and Sweden to undergo vascularized lymph node transfer at CGMH during the pandemic. Both suffered severe primary lymphedema for more than a decade. I appreciate their entrusting me with their care and allowing my team to get their health back on track. Not only there’s a significant reduction in the size of their lymphedematous limbs after the surgery; both no longer need to wear compression garments postoperatively which enormously improves the quality of their daily life.
