Professor Kevin Chung, MD, MS, who is the 2017 Noordhoff Lecturer from the University of Michigan gave a marvelous speech on “The indomitable spirit of the masters, Drs. Samuel Noordhoff and Pierre Auguste Renoir” at the 2017 Taiwan Society of Plastic Surgery annual meeting today. His speech is to honor Dr. Noordhooff’s contributions and achievements on plastic surgery and modern medicine in Taiwan. Dr. Chung’s speech is highly praised and inspiring. He is such an excellent role model for my colleagues and me to look up to and follow
both clinically and academically.
