It was a great pleasure and honor to share my journey as a surgeon of breast constructions at the grand round of our Department at CGMH this morning. A one-hour recap of my surgical publications (40 SCI papers, 7 book chapters, and 1 book), approaches, techniques, and outcomes of autologous and implant-based breast reconstructions, and a future outlook was presented to the audience. Patient satisfaction and improved life quality are always essential for my surgical results. With strong support from many local organizations, I would continuously dedicate myself to teach young surgeons, help breast cancer patients in Taiwan and hopefully enhance the awareness of breast reconstructions in other Asian countries as well.
